The following day, Uncle Vernon stays home from work and nails down the mail slot. Aunt Petunia seems worried, but Uncle Vernon simply says, "These people's minds work in strange ways."
The next day, on Fiday, the letters go through the side and the bottom. Uncle Vernon stays home again and nails up the sides and bottom of the front and back door, so no one can come in.
On Saturday, the milkman passes the eggs in through the living room window, and letters are wedged inside.
