You proceed to give your brother a loving good-bye as you do not know the people that are taking him and you do not know how long he will be gone for. You give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek as tears run down your chubby cheeks. You are scared of the future and try to stay in the past but you cannot as your brother gets taken away. Your loving good-bye takes a little bit longer than the white men would have liked. They separate you and your brother. Still unhappy about your long good-bye the white man gives you one hard strike against the back with his whip. It is the second hardest pain you have felt in your life next to being separated from your brother. The one tear that trickled down the side of your cheek becomes a river.
