Gently wake up roommate

From Create Your Own Story

Letting a fond smile grace your lips you slowly stand up, eyeing the sleeping mass facing you. Your room was spacious, a good 5 feet between each bed to give enough space for manoeuvring. You lived on campus with three siblings, triplets at that, so four of you shared a cozy living space.

Originally, it had been nerve wracking sharing with three strangers, but over the months everyone settled into a routine each was happy enough with. You'd dare say the three had really warmed up to you. stepping over a runaway sock, you sat down on the mattress, sinking down slightly as you lay your hand atop the curled up mass.

"Hey there sleepy. You planning on coming to class today, or?" A low mumbling was your only reply. Then silence. You try again, nudging the blankets delicately, but insistent enough to be felt - "I know, I know, we could both do with more sleep, but if we're late again I'm pretty sure Johnson is going to commit to a killing curse". This time the blankets move with a low chuckle sounding from below. Slowly the blankets slip over a frame as Alexander rises to a sitting position, one stubborn blanket remaining half draped across his face. His scuffed up brown hair sticks around wildly, some stray hairs falling in front of his hazel eyes, just enough for it to look cute without being to distracting. He stifles a yawn against the back of his hand before lazily smiling at you.

"Good morning to you too, sweetheart" He runs his hand over his face and pulls the offending fabric from atop his head. "Man, I was having such a nice dream as well, there was this stunning beach-bro -" You quickly cut him off with a hand over his mouth.

"Lovely, I'm sure it was, but we need to get going" You laugh, very aware of where his little dream had probably gone. Alex in turn rolled his eyes, and waved away your concerns.

"All right, whatever, you go down and I'll be there in five". He flopped back down into the blankets, but you knew he'd follow you down when he was ready.
