Fire at the radio operator, also in the jeep

From Create Your Own Story

You aim to the man sitting beside the officer. He's holding a field-radio in his arms, and is wearing headphones leading from it. You put him in your cross-hairs and fire.

Just as you fire, the jeep hits a slight bump in the road, and your shot misses. It strikes the radio sitting on the operator's lap, and deflects both the bullet fragments and pieces of the radio into the man's face. He stands up in the jeep, screaming in pain. This is just as the men on the sand-dune begin the assault, and to no one's surprise, the radio operation standing in the jeep is struck first. He falls backwards and lands lifeless in front of the tank, just as two RPGs simultaneously hit the tank and the jeep. The jeep and all of its occupants are engulfed in the blast. The tank is seemingly unfazed, as it rotates its turret towards the sand-dunes. The turret ceases, however, when the hatch is thrown open from within.

Smoke is pouring from the tank's open hatch, as the crew climbs out, flames just barely visible. Apparently, the RPG did more internal damage than thought previously. As the other mujaheddin put suppressing fire on the tank the Soviets are using as cover, the four tank crewmen are cut down before they could clear the tank. The smoking tank is at least still decent cover for the remaining Soviets from the sand-dune attackers. A new commander steps up, taking charge of the situation, and leading the panicking and scared Soviets.
