You take careful aim for the driver of the officer's jeep. You set your cross-hairs at the driver's exposed head, and ease back on the trigger of your rifle.
The bullet connects with its target, putting a bloody hole in the driver's head and sending him falling from the vehicle. The jeep swings to the side, off the road, and bumps into the sand-dune. Your allies make the jeep the first target, spraying it with a powerful and overwhelming barrage of fire, mangling the bodies of the three men within.
The Soviets by the tank spring to cover, using the tank as a shield. The mujaheddin quickly make the tank their next target of their spray of bullets, striking several soldiers dead and keeping the others hugging the tank for cover. You can just make out one of your allies steadying an RPG at the tank. He fires, disabling the tank with a loud explosion. Flames creep out from the turret of the tank.
As pieces of the tank's hull rain down from the sky, you spot a cowardly Soviet running back towards the direction his convoy had came from. He is unarmed, and his back is to you. Your comrades are preoccupied firing upon the soldiers posing a threat, and it is likely he will survive to fight again another day.
