You walk over to the Timber Grove Diner and step inside. It's your typical roadside diner, with a row of booths and a bar running the length of the tiny restaurant. Right now there is only an older woman behind the bar making coffee, and an old man sitting in a booth by the window. All of the sudden you feel the gold bracelet burn in your pocket, and for some reason you feel compelled to sit next to the old man. The warmth from the bracelet is soon gone, and you think that you were just imagining things.
