Commander Smith left Admiral Thorndike's offices in the Administration Building to check into the BOQ (Bachelor Officers Quarters) and made several viewphone calls until he was able to obtain suitable dinner reservations.
That evening, at eight o'clock sharp, Commander Smith picked up Connie Thorndike at her parent's house and took her to the exclusive Three Planets. Although she tried to act sophisticated and all grown- up, he could tell that the nineteen year old College Freshman was awed by the elegance of the restaurant.
They had attempted to make small-talk, but it was rather strained, after all, the spaceman was closer to her father's age than to her own. When he asked her if she cared to dance, she had demurely declined and Smith was secretly relieved that she had. He would have felt somewhat foolish waltzing around the dance-floor in his dress uniform holding such a young girl in his arms. Most of the other women in the place were much older, their late thirties to early fifties. As were their escorts.
When it was finally time for the check, both parties were probably more than a little glad to leave.
The ride back to her parents' place was made in silence and it was only when Smith parked the hover-craft in front of her house that she spoke.
"Thanks for the dinner," she told him in the near-darkness. "I had a lovely time." Only a far-off street light illuminated her features, large, striking blue eyes, tanned complexion, and full, pouty lips.
Before he could reply that it had been his pleasure or something along those lines, she added.
"Uh...Would you like a blowjob?"
Even in the dim light she must have seen the look on his face.
