Drawing your Walther, you leap behind the protection of a large boulder with your gymnast's agility. You quickly attach the silencer and wait.
Nothing happens for a long time. You are just about to get up when you hear a motor. A Jeep pulls up and five bearded men with AK-47s get out. As you listen to them speak from your hiding place, you discover that they were the ones who murdered Spider. Knowing that he was meeting someone, they rigged his corpse with explosives that would go off as soon as the body was cut down. You sigh in relief that you didn't choose to run in and cut down the body!
As the men continue talking, you learn that they are anti-Assad rebels allied with al-Qaeda. They also plan on staying here for a while. They will almost certainly see you if you try to get up and leave. You wonder if you can take them all out before they have a chance to shoot at you.
