Brie says that she'd seen me in this outfit a few times before and asked if it brought me luck. I smile and tell her "I guess you could say that." She asks, "Are you sure it's Aphrodite-worthy though?" She really seems concerned about this, I casually laugh and tell her "Who cares? I'm going for fun, not for a fashion show." Brie agrees, "Point taken."
We get ready and call a cab to drive us to our destination. From the outside, the large building looks surprisingly ordinary. Discreet, even. But once we enter Aphrodite... it's a whole different world. And I feel like my senses will drown in all the music, and the scents, and the bold, striking colors.
Brie notices me taking everything in, "So, what do you think of the place so far?" "Well, it looks hot!" I exclaim.
There are attractive people all around me, and the lights reflect off their revealing clothes. The air is hot, the music loud and hypnotic.
