Decline the drink, but stay there anyway

The man sips several times on his own drink, and you find it increasingly awkward not to reciprocate.
It doesn't take long before the situation comes to a head.
"You aren't drinking. Is there something wrong with my hospitality?" he asks, with just a hint of threat in his tone.
You look around you. The kitchen window is small, and you would never get through before the man could stop you. He stands between you and the locked front door. You glance towards the small hallway, but it doesn't look too encouraging.
Perhaps another strategy would be much more effective?
- Be a trooper and down the drink regardless
- Pretend you want an olive, and when he looks the other way, dash into the hallway
- Fall to your knees and tearfully tell him he can do anything as long as he promises to return you alive and in one piece
- Take a deep breath. Men are easily controled if you just give them what they want.
