Dead Reckoning- Get on Your Knees and Crawl Around

You muster the strength to pull yourself to your knees and decide to inspect the ground for anything you can use. As your hand slides from left to right, your heart suddenly begins to pound heavy in your chest. You find yourself grasping the leg of another person. The pants are cool to the touch, and the extremity feels chilled through the material. You come to the conclusion that whomever your touching is dead and has been that way for hours.
You take a breath and push the fear down in the back of your throat and continue searching the area, taking caution of the dead body. After what seems like forever, you hand grips a heavy flashlight. A sigh of relief washes over you as you flick the light on and smile to yourself, now with the ability to see restored. You shine the light around your current location, revealing what appears the be a small toll booth. The man laying in front of you wears the cloths of a security guard. His name tag shows the name "DAN" in large letters.
You bring yourself to your feet and slowly scan the area. You find a bloodied crowbar laying next to DAN. After seeing his fate, you can only hope it can protect you more than it did him.
The space you are in is large and open, and what few cars remain suggest a parking garage. As you continue to look around, a low growl shakes through the silence. You think you see something moving in the dark, but it could be your eyes playing tricks on you.
Finally your light shows on the source of the growling. A dark figure, covered in gore wearing a hoodie and tightly wrapped in chains, spots you and lets out a terrifying roar. You turn and search frantically for an escape. A stair case leading up into the building can be seen to the left. There is also an exit to the outside at your right.
