You go over to the family room, where Lauren has shifted her position to upside down on the couch, puffing out her torso and accentuating a rather attention-grabbing part of it out to you. It stirs you up in your pants...
"Lauren, the pancakes are ready, but I can just wrap it up with saran wrap for you to eat later," you blurt out.
She talks in an animated voice without shifting her gaze from the TV. "Yeah, sure, that'd be great. Thaaanks!"
You turn around to walk away, but you hesitate.
