Unable to control yourself, you let out a blood-curdling screech, alarming your cousins upstairs.
The two of them rush down the stairs to see what is the matter. Upon finding this gruesome sight, Richard claws his way back up the stairs. Blake steps forward in silence, gently nudging you out of his way, which is just enough to send you to the ground. You watch as he leans down to check for vital signs and cause of death.
You manage to utter words enough to ask if he's dead.
"Of course he's f**king dead!!" Blake exclaims accidentally.
You ask how this came to be.
"I don't know," he says, pullinng himself together, but the words still come out shaky. "There's no sign of any cause of death that I can see."
