D&D: The caravan stop to talk to you

From Create Your Own Story

You shrug your shoulders and continue walking at a slow pace towards the city when someone shouts an order and you see the wagons all stopping in unison. One of the cavaliers turns his horse towards you and hail you. "Hi there. I'm sorry I didn't greet you earlier," he says with a smile.

You look up at him and from atop his horse and try to remain polite although you don't know much about civilized folks interaction. "Likewise. Why did you stop?"

"We were going to do some distance down the south road but the night is falling fast. We figured it might be better to make camp," he continues with a easygoing smile.

"Oh, I see. Well, good luck with that," you say. As you are about to leave he quickly adds, "Would you like to stay with us? It is still some distance to Waterdeep and the night isn't very safe."

You aren't sure what he is saying. The nights are as safe as the days for a druid, that much you know. Then again, staying with them would mean learning a bit more about civilized folks.
