Critical Role - Jester - Lost In Nicodranas Alleys

You take moment to breath deeply and rub your sore limbs to calm yourself back down before pushing forwards and moving from cover to cover to prevent anyone coming in the other direction from catching a glimpse of your naked form. The narrow alleys twist and turn in strange and confusing ways. Branching paths connect with other branches, never with any signs visible to direct you back to a main road, or even a landmark. It doesn’t help that all the buildings her look the same.
10 minutes? 30 minutes? An hour? You have no idea how long you have been walking for and are pretty sure you have doubled back on yourself numerous times. The normally warm Nicodranas weather seems to be diminished in the eternal shade from the closely packed buildings, causing your uncovered skin to shiver in the chill.
Just as you are about to give up, you find a new split path. Down one you can see a man with a long overcoat staggering along away from you, a bottle of something loosely gripped in his hand.
On the other path, you think you can see a sleeve poking out from a box. This could be your chance to finally cover up! You start to move in that dorection, but a brief bit of movement from behind the box catches your eye. Maybe it isn’t as safe as you first thought.
