You awaken from the bright morning light streaming in from the stone windows of your room. Usually the drapes are pulled to prevent this, but a servant must have opened it while you were sleeping, which would also explain why your formal wear has been laid out already. You rise from your fur bed to get dressed, still a bit nonplussed. If a special event is supposed to be taking place today, you must have forgotten all about it.
Suddenly there's a knock on your bedroom door, followed by someone asking: "Who's in there?". The voice is that of Borislav, your father's personal servant.
