Casting a minor arouse spell

You decide to devote a chunk of your magic to arouse the goblin, so that he will be less likely to attack you again. You open your right hand toward the ground and point your left hand at the goblin's head, with your fingers extended. You focus your energy to bombard his mind with images and thoughts of yourself. He is struck by visions of your naked body pressed against him. Kissing him. Touching him. Licking him. When it is over, you see him looking you up and down. His green dick is now lifting his loincloth. You marvel at your well cast arouse.
However well you cast the spell, he still has his ax gripped. Maybe he thinks you mean to arouse him and kill him.
He charges at you and leaps, his ax arcing overhead to come down on you.
