You yell out loudly. You try again, but nothing happens. You try for the last time, and you hear rustling in the bushes. A man with a graying beard and a bald head emerges. He is muttering to himself, clearly mad. You catch bits of what he says. "...Haha, the pants and socks are no match for me..." "Come out, come ouuut! COWARDS!"
Slightly frightened, you back away. Suddenly he falls to the ground, clutching his temple. Then he gets up again, and when he sees you, he cries, "Sir! Oh, I am so, so sorry! You simply must help me! I was... was bit by a creature, known as the, the-" Suddenly his eyes become strangely blank and he says, "Did the bathtub really help frogs survive?", apparently back in his state of madness.
