You duck into your bathroom, standing next to the doorway. Your heart thumps loudly in your chest, You start to fear the intruder might hear it. You wait, trying to quiet your breathing, as the intruder makes it to the top of the stairs. There is silence for a second, until the intruder slowly walks down the hall. You hear it stop halfway down the hall, just about where you room is. You risk a peak, only to see a shadowy figure enter your bedroom. You gulp as you hear it go through your stuff, causing a lot of noise.
