You decide to avoid stopping anyone on the street afraid that people won't be willing to help you. You must look awful and what would you ask them anyway? What if you are in trouble with the law? The police would only catch you. You decide the risk is too great at this point. You continue down the main boulevard studying the buildings and street names. Nothing seems to trigger your memory. The extreme panic seems to be dulled compared to the pain your body feels. You see what looks like money on the ground. You pick it up and realize it is a few crumpled singles. You count the money. $4.00. You thought about what to do. The smell of baked goods is coming from a cafe across the street. It triggers your stomach and you find that some of your pain must be from hunger and thirst.
