You decide to break from the group and run into Promise. Since you are at the front of the line with still eighteen or so slaves behind you, there isn't much opportunity for stealth. You decide to beamline it in the direction the crew members just left in. You race past the elaborate decorations of the lobby and into the passage connecting Arcadia to Promise. You can hear voices yelling behind you but you take no heed. Looking back would just slow you down. Instead you urge your legs to move faster, feeling your heart pound in your chest. You turn to run around a corner and run straight into the back of Jaimie. You are unable to slow down at the pace you are going at, and fall backwards and hit your head on the solid floor as you do. As everything starts to grey out, you see Jaimie looking over you with a huge grin on his face.
