The sign points over to Alice's left. She turns her head to see a couple other students headed towards the large stone building that is Blue Mountain University's student center. The whole flight went surprisingly smoothly and Alice looks down at her watch to see that the time reads only 5:30 PM. The hot August sun, still high in the sky, creates a thin, shiny layer of sweat on Alice's skin, her soft, full red lips parting slightly as she breathes.
"I wish they would just give you the room key so that I could go straight to my room with all my stuff," mutters Alice under her breath.
