Apprehend the man at the end of the hall

One of Duran's guard is already at the study at the end of the hall.
"Before you put an end to me" the man with the pointed black beard says, raising a hand as if to ward off the guard's blade "you may want to have a look at this manuscript." He motions for you to come forward.
You do so, under the watchful eye of Duran.
Across the table is spread sheaf after sheaf of parchment. On one is etched a large diagram of the same rune you saw on the crystal above the worm whose death caused this mishap. On others you see pictures of female figures, naked and in the same arrangement you now observe, various levels of detail regarding the crystal jewelry you glanced over previously. From the minds of each female figure flows a stream of pictures, leading to a great whirlpool surrounding what is unmistakably a map of your father's kingdom on the last page.
"This is the only way I know to open a portal out of Vayphwar."
You glance at Duran. Vayphwar must be the name of the place where you now are.
"The appearance of seven of your companions was a fortuitous gift of the stars. I need only one more to complete the circuit." The man looks at you pointedly. He wants you to take your place on the empty panel.
