The duel is violent but short. Edward the Red is undeniably a good fighter, but even his fancy training at a fencing school did not prepare him for Raquel's dirty tricks. Less than half a minute after the beginning, the young man is down, badly winded by a kick in the guts. Before you can stop her, Raquel reaches down and plucks out his left eye with her bare fingers. He is taken thrashing and screaming to the infirmary.

Your men stare at Raquel in horror.

"The Pirate King will have us flayed for this!" exclaims Roderigo.

"All because of her!"

"And the captain, too," agrees a third. "He shouldn't have allowed this duel. Now we're all dead men."

"I say we maroon her!"

"Maroon 'em both!"
