"All right, Vanessa," you say. "Lower your gun slowly. We'll put them down at the same time."
Vanessa smiles. "Okay."
You watch her like a hawk as you ease your gun to the floor. Vanessa does the same thing as she lowers her own weapon.
"Ready?" she asks.
"Ready," you say. You both stand up and draw your knives. After circling warily for a moment, you gradually close in on each other.
Vanessa's knife arm suddenly flashes towards your chest! You don't have time to think.
- Try to parry Vanessa's thrust with your own knife
- Try to dodge Vanessa's thrust and use her forward motion to stab her
