Your men stare at you with puzzlement as you leave the jail.

"Why did you do that?!" exclaims one. "We were supposed to free Edward the Red while we were inside!"

"Yeah," agrees another, "and now we gave them Miguel."

Your men blame you for the failure of the plan but, being pirates, they must admit that Lord Colton's hefty reward makes the situation somewhat more bearable. While you lose no Authority Points (this time), it is time to think of another plan... maybe storm the jail by night or kidnap one of Lord Colton's relatives.
