"Greetings." the elf says politely as he takes you leash, and leads you into the carriage.
As you sit across from the elf, the carriage begins to move, and you wonder what your master will have you do. "Um..." you start, unsure if you should speak out of place. "Are you my master?"
The elf smiles, but shakes his head. "No. I am merely servant to your master. I was instructed to purchase you, and bring you to him. If you have questions, I shall be more that happy to answer them, if I can."
"Then... do you know what I'll be doing for my Master?" you ask.
"No specifically. But I believe you will be caretaker for his favorite pet. Our last caretaker met with a... tragic accident."
"Accident?" you nervously ask.
But the elf doesn't say anything more than that.
