"Um, I..." you start.
"Yes?" she asks.
You mentally reassure yourself. You have the power to do this. She has to do this. This is something you've wanted for a long time, and now you can finally just ask for it. Gathering your nerve, you take a deep breath and ask, "Can I see you naked?"
Sarah looks at you, dumbfounded. "You... want to see me naked? Me? Your mother?"
"Yes," you respond, voice shaking a bit. "I want... to see you naked."
She frowns and walks around the coffee table, sitting next to you and putting a hand on your shoulder. "I'll be honest with you. If that's what you really want, I'll do it. I understand you're a curious boy, and I know you've been looking at me before. But... I'm your mother. This... is more than a little weird."
"You knew?" you ask. Here you thought she'd never noticed.
She smiles. "Yes, sweetie. You're not smooth," she says, patting your head. She stands and goes back to the other side of the coffee table, standing in front of you like before. "Now... are you sure you want this?" she asks, gripping the hem of her shirt and giving it a nervous twist. "Really think about it."
