You're almost there, but somehow, Walfried gets between you and the door. You pull up sharp.
He looms over you and stares into your eyes. He actually has rather pretty eyes. They're kind of mesmerizing. "Vell, vell! Ve can't have you escapink! After all, vot am I goink to have to drink?"
