The parking lot, large as it is, is full to the brim. Julianne drives around without finding a spot on the main lot. Only when she heads for a side lot around the corner, she manages to find a spot at the very end, behind some dirty Pickups that look like they haven't been moved for a long time. "Uh, I wouldn't want to park here if it were dark," Julianne says and shudders. You know what she means. The spot is secluded, hardly anybody would notice if something happened here in the dark.
You disembark the car open the trunk to get the bags your mother stored there. In the meantime, she consults her mobile. Wow, the age of the internet - even small town malls have websites with floor plans.
Julianne says: "We need groceries, and I want to look for a - for some clothes. Looks like the supermarkets are on a different story than the clothes shops. So where to go first?"
