You stand . . . or more accurately float by your bed, looking down at your sleeping wife. You've only been dead a couple of months, having taken the full force of an IED while trying to clear a group of terrorists out of a cave. They gave you a Hero's burial. It was very nice. Since then you've been hanging out at home, trying in vain to interact with your family.
You are having some trouble getting used to this ghost thing. So far you have been able to do some very minor things when you employ a lot of effort. Just the other day you moved a penny a quarter of an inch. You are invisible and intangible. You pass quite easily through solid matter. You've noticed that when you pass through people, they get a chill.
You haven't seen any other ghosts about. You aren't certain if most people go on to an afterlife, or if ghost are invisible to each other. Whichever it is you feel very alone in the universe.
Everything was relatively fine, if a little frustrating, until last night around one. Suddenly, you started to get aroused. You thought that was behind you now that you didn't have a body, but it seems you were wrong. Now you feel as sexually pent up as you were just before you died . . . maybe even more so. You'd been nearly four months without sex at the time, as you would never have cheated on your wife. Now your metaphysical balls ache with need, and you seem to have a miracle erection that won't subside.
