You quickly open the carriage door and peek outside. The servants are standing outside, holding improvised weaponry. They look panicked. "What's going on, where are the guards?" You quickly ask them. One of the quickly runs up to you, you recognize the stable boy, Willem. He looks at you panicky and quickly explains the situation. "Duran said there's a caravan being attacked by bandits up ahead. The guards went to help the caravan. They told us to stay here until they come back."
