After S.T.A.R.S. was  disbanded, you tried to get back into the police again but since you were suspended you couldn't. So since then you have spent your time preparing for what you knew was to come. The outbreak. And you, and the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. members, were right.

It worked out ok the first weeks but then, the dreams came. They were filled with the agonising screams of your dying team mates and the sights of the undead reaching out towards you with their rotting hands. In an attempt to fight the dreams you started to drink and tried to drown the dreams in an alcoholic haze. This leaded you to the road towards alcoholism. It went so far that you got fired from the garage after you came drunk to work and got into an fight with your boss and nearly killed him. After that you have been driftin around town from bar to bar. But then, the signs started to show up again. Rampaging psycopats, canibalism and strange creatures lurking on people in the night. You immediatly realised what it was and after an week of agonising rehab, you pulled youreself togheter again and started to preapere youreself for what was to come. You stocked up on weapons and ammounition and read books about homemade explosives (you know from experience your gonna need that). And then, at the 23 september. It all went offical, the virus had reached the city. The chaos broke out immediatly and the mayor declared martial law and gave the military absolut athority which they used to put the entire city in quarantine.

It struck like an bolt of lightning from a clear sky. Suddenly the police radio was flooded with reports about psychos attacking and eating people. No one knew what was going on, beside the S.T.A.R.S. members. It didn't take very long before people finally started to believe what you said was true and while some still tried to deny the truth they soon changed their minds.

The police tried to slow the spread of the virus but because of the infected rats and birds it was very difficult to seal the infected parts of the city off so in no time more than half the city was infected.

But now there may be an chance to stop them. The intel gathered by police helicopters hints to that the main ¨force¨ of the zombies is gathering up and is moving towards the uninfected parts of the city and they take the quickest way to get there, main street. This can be the chance the R.P.D has been waiting for. The Select Police Force leaders quickly draw up an plan to set up an massive road block at main street and to halt the zombies there and maybe, just maybe, stop them once and for all. And better yet, Umbrella inc (the main company in the city and in the country) has sent their private military U.B.C.S. (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service) to help out.

But now you have to ask youreself, do you really want to help them? They didn't listen to you and taunted you and your team mates when you told them the truth. But on the other hand, if you don't help them a lot of people can die.
