Back at the club, the bouncer cheerfully takes your money and lets you in.  You enter a room with soft red carpet and a high ceiling. The lighting is quite good. A small stream of people are walking in and out of the room.  At the far end there is a doorway that leads to the main bar and the dance floor.  A smaller door leads into the cloak room.  Off to the side is a flight of stairs that disappear to the upper floor.
