120 Minutes Remain (2)- Grab something from the desk

You quickly scan the desk and only find one thing that may be of any use to you. A switchblade.
You pick it up and slip it in your pocket. For some reason you can't really explain, you feel a lot more relaxed.
For good measure, you decide to search the drawer.
You grab the handle of the drawer and pull. Nothing happens. You pull again, harder this time, but it stays shut. You conclude that it must be locked.
Before turning away from the desk, you notice a slip of lamented paper protruding from a stack of notepads full of equations. Unlike the surrounding junk, it's written in a language you can actually read.
You step away from the desk, the beginnings of a plan forming starting to form in your head.
