Ignoring the feelings of disappointment and fear, you decide to focus on the positives. Maybe now that you're out of the room, someone might be able to hear you. It's worth a shot.
Gathering your breath, you shout as loud as you can. The word echos surprisingly loud and the sound lasts for nearly a full thirty seconds.
So you're in a large room. A very large room. No sooner does this thought run through your mind, when you hear something. It sounds distant, but you defiantly heard it.
Excited, you shout again, and after the echo dies, you hear it. A voice, pleading. There's no doubt about it. There's someone else here.
