"Let me walk you home," you tell her.
Keisha smiles. "Thank you, Connor."
"You're more than welcome," you say softly. You take her hand and walk over to her house. It's about half a mile away, and you have a pleasant chat en route.
When you arrive, Keisha's parents are home. You smile as you greet them, and they give you a grin. "My daughter has had a crush on you for months," her mom informs you.
"I'm glad you finally noticed her," booms her father. "Please be nice to her."
"Oh, I will," you assure them. "Keisha is very sweet. And quite pretty." The praise causes Keisha to blush.
You turn to her. "In fact, I like you so much that I want to spend all of tomorrow afternoon with you, just like we did today. You want to come over to my house again, or would you prefer to invite me over here?"
Keisha can barely speak. "Either way is fine. I just can't believe..."
Her voice trails off, and you finish her sentence. "That I've fallen for you? I most certainly have." You pull her into you arms, and give her a gentle kiss. "I'll be going now," you say, breaking out of Keisha's embrace. "See you tomorrow at school."
When you meet her before the start-of-school bell, you finalize your plans for the afternoon.
