"Why were you so sure I would come?"

From Create Your Own Story

"Why were you so sure I would come?" you say, as you brush Elizabeth's long black hair with your hands. "Don't you remember your promise?" she said, looking up at you worried, "You promised you'd always protect me no matter what when you first asked me out." You stopped stroking her hair at the girl with confusion and shock. It seemed that Elizabeth was one hundred percent certain that the two of you were going out. You don't know how such a turn events came to transpire, but it would be foolish to ruin what had apparently built itself between the two of you. A glance at your hand sends fear down your spine. The very hand that was stroking Elizabeth's dark, silky head was covered in blood. Was Elizabeth's head bleeding? You turn your head swiftly to the policeman, but to your horror, the police officer has disappeared. A second glance at your hand confuses you even more. You notice that the blood has completely disappeared. Elizabeth looks up at you with a questioning glance. "Something wrong?" she asks in a soft, whisper.
