You slip on the old blouse and skirt still lying nearby and run downstairs. A quick scan in the mirror reveals your wounds are gone, somehow you're not surprised. You arrive at the entrance before they do, panting a little. Then you ready yourself and the door swings open, the bright light outside makes you cringe for a moment. Then they close the door behind them. You make a mental note to avoid looking into strong light sources.

The couple steps inside, fluttering their eyes to try and adjust to the darkness inside. You speak up. "Welcome." They look at you, probably unable to see you clearly. they seem surprised to find someone here and you remember you never send any notification that you'd be taking them up on the offer of staying here. "Oh, hi" the woman says stupidly. For some reason, you dislike everything she does. The guy steps up in front of her and says "Hey there, you here about the caretaker job for the mansion as well?"
