The Watcher existed, yet never existed. He was immortal, yet never lived. He saw with no eyes and spoke with no words. He did, however, love a good experiment with the oh-so-interesting mortals that lived around him. You, a seemingly unimportant speck in the world to him, caught his eye, and so he decided to bestow power. This power was everything, yet nothing. There were no rules, yet many at the same time.
