The Mind Controlling Device/Just talk.
From Create Your Own Story
You decide to just to have a talk with her, if things get too boring, you could try the device a little more.
You: "So mom, how are you today?"
Mother: "Just fine, your father and I was talking about something you may not understand. How are you feeling? Do you have a headache or something?"
You: "Yeah, I just need to stay at home for today, maybe I'll get better soon."
Mother: "I hope so, dear."
Ok, that did not last long, and now you're getting bored. Maybe you can try the device to make this talk be a little more... interesting. You have an idea of to try, but your not sure if it will work. But still, you touch the device and think: "Talk about something in French." After a few seconds, you hear your mother talking to you, but it not in English, in French! You have no idea what she is saying to you, but you don't care at the moment, you want to try out a few more languages. "Now in Spanish, don't stop talking until I say so." After that, she is now speaking in Spanish, this is amazing! You then try out many others, Italian, German, Japanese and all the rest you can think of. You then return her back to English, and tell her to stop talking.
Mother: "...Do you get what I'm saying?"
You nod your head, pretending that you fully understood what she said to you, even though you lost count of how many languages you made her speak in. So now you have some other ideas of what you can do to her.
