"Excellent!" says Baradarab. "Let me get you a hover-cycle, and we'll get you on your way."

The Citizens become very excited once Baradarab spreads the news about the new Champion in the City. He brings you a hover-cycle capable of flying at speeds past Mach 3. Scientists and inventors from around the City bring you strange weapons, shields, and other gadgets designed to help in the fight against the monster.

You hop on your hover-cycle, wave, and take off. The hover-cycle is able to carry you over the abyss and back among the mountains of socks. This is one crazy planet! More and more socks are raining down. You were told to head for a tall, spindly mountain made of orange and green socks. Using a pair of high-tech binoculars, you spot your target. The Raptoropticon is nesting on top of the sock mountain, flapping its wings and screeching into the air. Wow. That thing is ugly.

You shake your head and increase speed. When you arrive at the sock mountain, you armor up with all the high-tech gadgetry you can carry, draw your laser baton, heft an energy shield, and walk up the mountain.
