Shower anyway

You choose to shower anyway.
"Ok dear," your mom says, "I'll set out your pajamas for you."
You get into the shower and clean yourself. You want to hurry, your mom had already shown you the new Animorph book she had picked up while running errands today.
You climb out and wrap a towel around you. You hadn't heard your mom bring in your pajamas and sure enough, they aren't on the counter.
You call out to her and she says to go ahead and use the bathroom and brush your teeth then come back to your bedroom. You're a little confused but do as she says.
You open the bathroom door and peak around, a little embarassed to be running around the house in just a towel, but you don't see anyone. You bolt to your room and hear your mom call, "I'll be there in a minute,"
Your pajamas are lying on the bed, but it seems like something else is going on, so you wait.
Your mom walks in and starts talking, "You're eight years old now, honey. You really shouldn't be wetting the bed to begin with, much less forgetting to wear your goodnites. Now your dad and I aren't mad at you, but we think we need to start pursuing other options. We are going to talk about it and take you to the doctor's office when we get back, but for now, we are just going to be sure you were your Goodnites every night. Go ahead and grab them,"
You go to your suitcase and look around for them. You can't find them and you tell your mom.
"I know, dear," she says, "I checked while you wear in the shower. Now I need to know, did you really forget to wear them last night or did you realize you were out and not tell me?"
