You decide that just sitting on your bed and staying silent is what you want to do right now.
You hear your mother call out again, no doubt because she hadn't heard you moving yet. You just stay plopped on your bed looking at your wall.
A few minutes past before you hear footsteps coming towards you. Your door swings open and you see your mother standing there.
"Cynthia! Why didn't you come when I called you?"
You shrug. You never really had a reason.
