Rip the pointe shoe off your face

You pull and tug at the pointe shoe. As delightful as the odor inside it is, you feel silly with a shoe on your nose. You tug hard and the knot pulls loose. The shoe comes off of your face.
The ballerina thrusts her stocking-clad toes at your nose. She must have removed her pointe shoes while you were struggling. She presses her toes against your nostrils.
"You must want the real thing!" she says.
