You snap the envelope shut and look up at your boss. He hasn't noticed your little drawings and he seems intent at speaking with you. You wonder what this will be about.
He is stern when speaks with you. "Melanie, listen, I just want to clear something up with you. I have never and will not ever use a prostitute. I am happily married. Second, I hope that you can," he sighs before he continues, "keep what happened here today a secret. Valerie seems to be having some trouble coping with school, and I wouldn't want her to lose face here or anywhere else."
"Is she alright now?" You feign concern.
"I'm taking her home now, so please cancel my meeting this afternoon," Vincent replies, and you catch Valerie slipping out of the room.
