Piggy's Day/Cannot fly a plane

You recall fondly of the time you flew an ultralight airplane... and crashed it horribly into the sea.
Piggy: "Yeah, I think it's better that you fly."
By the time the commander manages to get the plane fying, most of the runway has been swallowed by the rip. You fly west, away from the source of the rip.
Commander: "Where could we go? It looks like the rips expansion is slowing down, but we need to find a place far away enough to land.
Piggy: "How about Australia?"
Commander: "I think we have enough fuel to get there. Australia it is!"
You land in Australia. Not having to fear the spatial rip for some time, you go to the beach. There, strangely enough, you see a group of three Piggies. You go and talk to them.
Piggie 2: "There's another one!"
Piggie: "What's going on? Who are you?"
Piggie 3: "We're not really sure yet. Tell us, how did you get here?"
Piggie: "I escaped a crack in reality with the police commander, then found an aeroplane and flew here."
Piggie 3: "Really? I also escaped a crack in reality with the police commander!"
Piggie 2: "Excellent - we've found a close connection."
Piggie: "What?"
Piggie 2: "You see, all of us have been able to track exactly what brought us to these situations, and found that all of us, except for me, started about two days ago in your house. Ever since, different choises have separated our paths, only to meet again here. Me and Piggie 1 were the first to meet, and started looking for others."
Piggie: "Wow, this is very strange."
Piggie 1: "Let's go, there might still be more Piggies in here."
Piggie: "Right, I'll join you then. Call me Piggie 4."
Together with your duplicates, you scour the beach for more Piggies, and find one more. You then start traversing the city's streets, and soon enough, you find a corner where you see a two Piggies, one standing still on the other side of the street, and another one walking away from you.
Piggie 2: Let's split up. Half of us go and chase down that other Piggy, and half of us stay here and see what that other Piggy is doing.
