I suppose that you should know who I am, because if you're reading this, then the information here may be valuable. My name is Edward Crat. I was on a ship when it was caught in a storm, and it was destroyed. I floated here on a crate I managed to grab on to. I found this cove, and made it my home. I now live on the island, although if you're reading this, then either something has happened to me, or I made it off. This island, as far as I've determined in my month here, is rather secluded. I have not seen any passing planes or ships, no evidence to the outside world. If you're reading this, good luck.
