It was the end of coronation day of Tenel Ka Chume’da Djo. Today, the daughter of a Dathomirian witch, and a Hapan crown prince had become Queen Mother of the Hapes Consortium. An order of pirates, an order of riches, everything a princess could ask for, except for one thing.
It had been only a few weeks since she and the Solo siblings, some of the best friends she’d ever known had defeated the Yuuzhan Vong on the remnants of Coruscant, and finally put an end to a war that had nearly destroyed everything. Now that the war was over, and her responsibilities were coming to the forefront of her life, she wished now more than ever for the company of her friends, Jacen most of all. The middle child of the Solo siblings had made quite the impression on her in the years they’d trained together, and she was hurt that he’d not made it to the ceremony.
As she chose the nightgown she would be wearing for the evening, in the walk-in closet of her large bedchambers, she was taken by surprise when she felt a pair of familiar strong arms wrap around her middle.
“Blue is definitely your color, Tiki.”
Jacen Solo’s presence always made her smile, now more than ever since she now knew that he had made it.
Turning around, she surprised Jacen by wrapping her arm around the back of his head, and pulling him into a passionate kiss.
