Leap out of the nest, into the lake

You're really not into ducks. You look around, spotting the shoreline a long ways off. Thankfully, the lake you're in is the one in the park, so you're not lost.
You leap into the lake, and start swimming. Your clothes and heels are soaked, and quite heavy. Before long, you're tired out, and you still have a long way to swim to get to shore. You spot a rowboat a short way off. It looks like there's a man inside, and, from what you can see, he's pretty hot, too.
